You manage high temps in a very casual chic way- all great looks. And, since my goal this month is 'more tops for summer', I plan on hunting down that Lush top. Just perfect.
Thanks, so much, ladies, and I just reposted the link to the top and it seems to be working; but, just in case, I did give the item # and details and it's on sale.
Love your summer styles for hot weather...You look cool, chic and ready to face the heat...Almost like a fairy story of what summer is like to those of us who are freezing...(I have on two shirts...one a flannel and leggings...) Oh well, maybe one of these days I can wear the summer clothes I have been buying, styling and hanging on the closet door...Great looks for you!...
Aw, Vicki, thanks for the nice compliment! I am glad you are back to a normal lovely California temperature. I'm going to try the T's in a small and size up to a medium as well, so thanks for the insight there.
Vicki, you look sensational in all of these! What a great top on you. Smiling at my sandal twin...not that I have worn mine yet. You have temps in the 100s. And I? Well, I'm in the mountains...where it SNOWED a few days ago. Still wearing closed shoes here, for sure.
Like the others, I'm in awe of your ability to wear denim in the heat.
Oh casual perfection! I love them all!! Great idea to duplicate - I do that all the time with tshirts too. Love love love your style! My word....104 degrees? I'd be a hot mess
Vicki - it has been hot, but not as hot as you look in these outfits! Dang!!!
You have the key to my heart (I love your necklace) and you've put together some beautiful combos here. I especially love #1, it's so dashing and simple yet unexpected. You thumb your nose at the wacky weather gods with flair.
What perfect summer outfits, Vicki! You look amazing and your WIWs are always an inspiration!!! Hard to believe the pretty versatile top is from the juniors department. Thanks for the links, too!
I love the shirts on you and you have me considering getting a few. Are they sheer? Do they require a top underneath? Have you tried washing them or are you going to dry clean them?
Thanks, and Laura I wanted to let you know that they are somewhat sheer and, yes, I do wear a camisole under them (nude), but any playful color would do. Great questions on washing and yes I do wash them, even though it says to "dry clean only" on the tag. I took a chance and washed them and took them out of the dryer after a few minutes and put them outside and they were great. Washing worked out fine!
