Just repeating from Beth Ann and Angie said:

Killer modernist fluid prep.
fab. fab. fab.

I know, I'm supposed to be looking at the boxy shirt and sweater (great combo, btw, Suz!) and determining the possibilities for saving my plaid button downs... but I love the plaid pants!!!

I need more plaid plants.

awesome - both versions!

These look so good on you and I love the way you styled them with Angie's ensemble idea. So glad they found a better home. And it was so sweet of you to create an outfit using them right away.

Yay to YLF sisterhood, this is a fab look. I like both toppers with these pants. Plaid is always a fun look. I can't wait to see these styled with a moto over them.

Great interpretation and those pants are fabulous on you!

I thought I'd commented earlier, and now I don't see my comment - but I love both versions! What to rock the look!

I love those plaid pants Suz!
Denise et al are stars for their thoughtfulness and generosity

I love both versions!

So fab! What a quick and terrific interpretation! You rock this modern minimalist style!

Suz, you are too adorable for words! I love everything about this outfit: it's origins and inspiration, it's cool, slouchy vibe, the bright colors, the mixing of patterns and textures (hmmm, color, pattern, texture, shine, anyone?) and then add your beautiful self to the mix and it's sheer perfection. You do so consistently well with your proportions, too. How I wish I could manage heels every day and get my legs to look as long as yours look!

Oh, so clever! I like the new pants with Angie's formula on top! Great outfit!

Suz these look great on you. I am so jalouse~ Why didn't Denise want to keep them? I just pinned a pic of her in these yesterday ha! I love all the things you paired with them, esp. the leather.

So there is more than a little prep in you. Fabulous pants! I especially love it with that jacket. SO classic yet modern. I love love love these looks. Marking as a fave! I hope you're going out this is a look that deserves to be seen!

Such fun plaid pants. And what an Everything gray sweater--so versatile!
I like the option of tucking shirt for more formal look, too.
But don't you find the looser sweaters are SO much more fun to use for layering? I'm so glad I let myself "give up" layering with fitted sweaters. Strangulation time.

This formula was made for you! As are the pieces you used; I love both sweater variations, although I'm relieved the dressing will wash out.

Love the outfit & love how it came about

Great formula for you! You do the blouse/sweater layering so effortlessly. I can never get all the parts to play nicely together. Those pants are awesome!

So amazing, from plaid to kitty, and I' wear this rain or shine. You look spectacular, Suz.
