Wiw-boxy blouse w/pencil skirt and white jeans

Hello YLF,

Hope you are having a great weekend.
My outfits for the weekend were this:
#1,2- boxy blouse with pencil skirt.A special wave to Tracy who has the same pencil skirt. In photo 2 I was trying to show the assymetrical hemm if the blouse.
#3- what I zm wearing today.I don't think you can see from the picture but i decided to add some pearl earrings to add more white on top.Coffee culture always reminds me of Sveta because that is where I met her the first time in London.As I mentioned before I am not so much into this silhouette anymore but it is nice for a change.

What do you think of these?Comments, critics and suggestions welcome.

Need one advice.I have to little stains on the shirt from yesterday and it is silk.Any advice on how to take if the stain?(have no idea of what it is)

Gorgeous! Both outfits. Love how the skirt and sandals are the same colour in #1. And my word do you rock those white jeans, Celia! LOVE you in sleeveless tops too. You have a stunning shoulder line for the look.

Love both outfits! And I know you aren't as into the silhouette of the 2nd outfit lately, but it made me swoon a little. The proportions are spot on and the white jeans fit you beautifully.

I managed to get a gel deodorant stain on a silk blouse once, and I was just sick about it, but it lifted when I carefully hand washed the blouse with a diluted enzyme cleaner (Kids&pets plus water.)

I like the easy lines of 1 and the great color palette. 2 is stunning on you. Angie is so right about your shoulders. Good luck with the blouse. I just use all-purpose stain remover and hope for the best, so I hope someone else as better advice.

Thank you ladies.My shoulders got a lot more of self esteem since ylf.Before I would never consider them a strong point.

regarding the blouse I guess I don't trust my dry cleaner that much.
Kari, where can i find that stain remover? any special brand?

Celia, these are both extremely flattering. I love them!! The shoes and skirt in #1 are just perfect together. And although I hear you that you are tired of the silhouette in #2, I must say it is HUGELY flattering to you! Lovely.

What is the stain on the shirt? I have had luck with oily stains on silk simply by soaking a bit in soap solution ahead of the wash, and then washing in cold. Sometimes it takes more than one wash for the stain to totally disappear. But it does eventually come out.

Celia, I use this ALL THE TIME on laundry, carpet, etc (before using something like Oxy-Clean) for organic stains. Not sure if it's available in Canada. I usually find it in grocery stores in the laundry or carpet cleaning aisles.

You look very lovely in both outfits! The blouse in #1 is such a gorgeous color on you and that blouse in the last shot with the white jeans makes your waist so tiny and shows off your lovely shoulders. I just love it with the white jeans!
