Three of my new pieces as mentioned in Suz's post earlier. My black Zara shirt, black Escada jeans and my super comfy camel sandals. My old metallic olive bag has been a favourite this summer. So many handy little compartments! Thanks for looking.

PS: This is a night outfit for a walk around town. I prefer to wear black at night only in summer.

I really like this - I love a column of black with different colour accessories. Those shoes look a great match to your hair as well.

Yes Sal I am loving columns of black currently too and the shoes are an excellent bookend for my hair. Everything seems to revolve around hair colour for me. I have always felt good in back although previously I would accessorize with silver, while I still can and do, now I am experimenting with gold too, rose gold being a favourite.

Thanks Brooklyn & JenniNz, this bag would fit right in with lots of outfits for both of you!. I have found it to be so versatile. It goes (not matches) with almost everything in my wardrobe. The pockets on the front, under the flap, are perfect for keys and lipstick while the large one on the back is exactly the right size for my smartphone. It is not an amazing quality leather and will wear out eventually but I will replace it with the same, maybe in a bronze colour. They come in a variety of colours and are sold here in my small town. I think they are made in Turkey, our neighbour.

Thanks Kate! I think black, camel, olive, rust and white just may be my new preferred palette. From here forward when I add anything I am going to seek out these colours (for all seasons). I will include white so that I can also make black and white outfits which I am really enjoying lately.

Pretty Boy says 'Meeow' while stretching like a long cucumber on the carpet He is still young, not quite 9 months old, so he has that teenage frame. He was originally named just Pretty as I thought he was a she when he was a very pretty tiny kitten who was the size of my palm. I rescued him on New Years Day, when it was very cold and wet.
