What a cool, casual look! The scarf and belt add just the right touch to this tomboyish look. Love your new title - a perfect style description.

Adore. You have hit your stride big time. The more I look the better it gets. Love!

Nothing new to add, just wanted to say this is AWESOME!

Chiming in to echo everyone else - so gorgeous - love this on you Suz!

Trying to catch up, and late to the thread. Great for home-work! It's completely unfussy, and yet the details --- the shine in the shoes and scarf, the pattern on the belt, all make the look intentional and upscale. Don't you think faded denim looks new again?

I love this outfit, Suz!

Distressed luxe done like post-revolutionary royalty, indeed! So chic! All in the details, as Beth Ann said, like writing a good book

Oh, I got to this thru Shannon's link of today. Dear me, I almost missed this delightful outfit! It sort of has this jaunty, nautical vibe to me for some reason. You look like an adventurer--so cheeky and exuberant. Definitely a prince in the best way.

Nice, Suz! Thanks so much for posting your outfit. Great use of the sweater.

"Simplicity is the ultimate sophistication", you express it here. This charming, elegantly knotted scarf does it all. Good for you to have given your BF a second chance! And I absolutely love your choice of footwear with it. Grand! Makes you look tall too.

I understand why the slouchy BF might take the back seat these days, as elements demand a sturdier, heavier footwear. If you are petite, it is hard to pair slouch with the slouch/heavy boots our winter requires. Then once inside, finer footwear is in the order. The slouch BF looks good in warmer climate/weather, when one can wear them with ankle boots, military boots, or flat shoes and no socks.

I am curious, do you wear your Doc Marcies outside in this lovely outfit?

Krish, I do wear the Marcies outside if the weather isn't too cold. If I need an insulated winter boot they aren't good, but for temps of about 2C or above they're fine.

They have a big platform that is great in the rain -- keeps the feet dry. And the platform is rubber so it doesn't slip. And they are a wedge, so they're comfy.

Im not sure how I missed this, but it appears you've mastered the art of making casual perfectly princely!

Have you tried lining them with insulated soles? It makes a big difference in my boots.
