I agree with everyone: Butch is not the word that springs to mind for me. I am not a big fan of the shirt on its own (the sleeves issue) but I think it looks fab with the jacket, and I love the fit of the jeans. With the cuffs and the boots, there is definitely a cowboy thing going on, but I happen to love a cowboy look, so I am into it :). I agree with Una about your hair too. If you had a crewcut, then this might look a bit more butch.

Looking forward to seeing Angie in some baggy denim! Loved your comment, Zap, about Obi Wan and Luke!

Thanks Rae, Zap and Jonesy!

Well. I tried on boys jeans today - ALL MILES TOO SHORT. I thought 14 year old boys were at least as tall as me?

Might have had some luck in the junior men's department but need to order the right length online. I need a 32 length and tried on a 30. We shall see...

Good luck, Angie! Finding a new fit of denim is always a project, but it's worth it!

Thanks, Rae. It's fun to walk around in the mens and boys department and find things to wear. Men's jeans have such high rises because their indoor plumbing needs more room. My word, it's like instant saggy crotch slouch on a women's body no matter what. Just what I was after

Butch! Never - you're just too feminine and adorable! You look like a boyish wrangler (thanks, Journey

This is a fun departure from your usual style, and it looks pretty easy to wear for a Friday!
