So glad Kitty is home safe and sound! Once again, I'm finding inspiration in your outfits. You wear the Danier jacket fabulously and your blue blazer is gorgeous on you. I just got the same Gap marled sweater, in soft yellow. I love how you've styled yours. White ieans are high on my spring/summer shopping list. Good luck with the car hunt!

Great outfits, Sveta! The first one is my fav!

I am so sorry I was away from my computer for several days and did not get to respond before - this car hunt was pretty exhausting!

We found a car. After driving big American cars for 16 years we decided to try Toyota Corolla for a change. I have signed the papers today and we are taking possession on Saturday (hopefully our old car will last that long). This is an expensive purchase and I am a bit nervous right now - hopefully we did not make a mistake <knock on wood>

As for the kitty - I tried to keep her indoors the first summer but it is almost impossible. She came to us when she was about 6 months old so she was already familiar with the outdoors and the joy of freedom. She is the one who is going out in any weather and sometimes does not come home until morning ( one time during a blizzard! ) However she was never away for 3 days in a row so I was worried. I would like to know where she has been all this time (but I definitely do not want to know what she ate then )

Thank you all so much for your comments, they were so lovely to read after a busy day!
Windchime, white jeans are waiting for you somewhere for sure!
Mona, I have also seen that Zara blazer is not available anymore: I am glad I pounced in time! BTW the yellow one would look striking on you.
Karie, he-he, actually my pants do not fit that well right now as I am still losing weight. The ones in #3 are fine because my mom altered them for me but #1 and #5 are clearly on the bigger side now...
Angie, I almost sent the blue jacket back but in the last minute decided to treat myself to one fun peace this season BTW my first version on outfit #2 (with striped white/silver tee and mini-check trousers) was vetoed by my hubby so I had to change into jeans and white shirt. I think this blazer does requires a simpler background...
Katie, yes - this blue blazer is the one I tried in Toronto! The style and length got Angie's approval in Boston so I went for it
Ornella, you are so right about mirror boost at work and about the shoes

Aida, I think black belt looked more streamlined and this appealed to me.
JenA, I did try the yellow jacket in Boston as they did not have blue in my size - just to show Angie the fit.

I am so sorry to hear that you have had such a tough week! I am glad that your kitty is okay, but sad that your car isn't doing too well. Replacing the car though, will give you piece of mind for many years (vs. deck furniture or NAS, as wonderful as NAS is!) - I need to do this for my car soon too!

You make blush pink look so easy to wear, I am super jealous. It always looks weird on me.

The light blue blazer looks great on you. I also love the last one with the pink sweater. You look terrific in all of them!

I hate having to get a new car...what a chore. I'm glad it's over! And I'm so glad your cat returned. What a relief!

All your outfits are fab, Sveta. You are always so polished and attentive to detail. I love the tomato red! I need to add more to my closet. In general, I like all your color combos here. As for the blush top, I prefer it semitucked, I think because the outfit is on the simpler side. The semituck exposes the belt and gives the viewer a focal point for the outfit.
