WIW and WIBought (return to Banana Republic)

This post has a bit of everything.

1 - what I wore. J Crew cashmere sweater. It's a chilly, rainy day. Target pants, Banana Republic bracelet (quite matchy-matchy). Old flats

2-4 - new cropped jeans I bought at BR. A good deal, and a good fit, I think. I tried rolling them up to the knees as some people prefer their cropped length. I like both lengths.

5-6 - BR sweater. A great deal and I love the fluidity! It's an open knit and is quite cool for a big sweater. It'll come in handy in fall and winter, but I can also see it on cool summer evenings on vacation, with the sleeves rolled a la #6

7 - I slipped this Anthropologie top back in. It got lots of thumbs down before but I still haven't decided whether to return it.

Keep all of it! I adore your outfit of the day with it's lime and aqua. And the crops - both lengths but I am a rare YLF ankle length crop fan too. Sweater looks cozy.

Oh, I saw the new Trina Turk collection at Banana Republic. The salesman was selling it hard! "limited edition!" "when it's gone, it's gone!" "I'm already having to pull some things to mail!" This was about 10 minutes after opening, so if you want something, I'd go soon. I tried on a few pieces, but nothing I had to have for the price.

Seriously envious of your great finds! I especially love the grey sweater/cardigan --- the shape of the wrap front, the colour, and lightness... all delightful! The pants look like a perfect fit, and I'm not sure what the Anthro issues were, but it looks lovely to me.

PLUS a fab bonus outfit! The neon and blue is to die for on your tanned complexion!

You look great in brights AND neutrals. That sweater in 5-6 is gorgeous and what you've done with the aqua sweater works with either of the bottoms. Two thumbs up!

Love all of these pieces! You look great in brights! The grey BR sweater is particularly gorgeous. I'd keep the red Anthro top for sure! Interesting cut/drape. Thumbs up!

I LOVE the colors in #1, and #5 is so gorgeous. I prefer the "rolled up" version of the pants.

That new BR sweater is gorgeous! I quite like the red top - don't remember seeing it before, and not sure why it did not get a lot of love. The color and drape are very nice.

I really like the top you went shopping in that colour is a real winner on you. Your purchases are lovely but I'm afraid I'm not a fan of #7. Although it's a lovely colour I don't think it is your lovely colour.
