WIW - And this week's $100 was spent on...

I was sneaky, I showed you guys the chain dress last night, but here's what the rest of my week's budget was spent on! (It was more like $120 because I was too busy during the week to eat lunch, so, extra moneys!)

1) I'm sure you'll recognize old favorites here - I sewed straps onto the strapless dress (which was sliding down my front because of my lack of boobage) - $2 for the 1 meter of wide grossgrain ribbon. Also; $6 for the tear-drop leopard print earrings. I hate leopard print, but thought this was as good as it gets for my wardrobe at this point!

2 & 5) Floral skirt - $24 (marked down from $60); RW&Co - fun and I loooove the pockets! It fits my waist perfectly, which never happens for me and skirts! I always have to tailor! It's now my favorite skirt store, because I'm a 00.

3 & 4) Brown A-line skirt - $24 (marked down from $60); RW&Co - makes me feel like Kate; so I bought it. HAHAHA. Super fun and well constructed! It shouldn't fall apart the SECOND TIME I wear it (stupid Forever 21 skirts). I don't mind the falling apart as much as the stupid resident who tells me, "Hey, your underwear is showing." ... >__> I much love the way it goes woosh!

Shout out to AJ - I tried the blush and blue blazer combo in #5. I love it! MUCH FAB!

Extras:
$7 for gel pads in both pairs of heels - much happier feets! (Buy one get one free!)

How'd I do this week? Remainder of money spent for coffee with my sister and shampoo. I much needed shampoo!

Suz - thanks! I just buy more expensive things on sale. Expensive, of course, to me is anything over $50 :p There's many wonderful sales going on right now, so I'm taking advantage of them! 50% off final sticker price is definitely my favorite sale! Double (or triple) markdowns! Also; if you sign up for a store's newsletter (just use an email account you set up for this purpose) and often, as a "bonus" for signing up, you can get coupons - $15 off $40 or something like this; and it stretches my style dollar further!

Oof! #5! It keeeeeels me! That blue blazer is so cute on you, and styling it with the floral skirt makes it look really cool (I always get scared of bright blazers, thinking I'll look like an 80s throwback, but this proves me super wrong). Also love your little bag in #1.

ETA: How can anybody hate leopard print? Is this a childhood scar?

MNsara - of course! I hate leopard print because I associate it with stuffy old ladies! But it's really silly, of course. I don't really like wearing any animal print, come to think of it ... I do adore a nice leather though, especially if it comes in terms of boots!

Angie - and to think I don't like blue.

They're all pretty but my favs are 1,4, and of course 5!!

The touches of print in outfit 1 gives this monotone outfit such a fun personality!

4 is such a nice classic look. The width of this red belt seems like it suits this skirt better than the skinny one in 3.

So glad you tried the color combo in 5! This outfit sings to me! Squee!!!

Add me to the blue blazer love club! I hear you on the animal print - it took me a long time to add it to my own closet and even now it's in small doses and not on classic pieces, but more funky. Are you on a $100 per week clothing budget right now?

Yes, Mo, I get myself $100 in cash and then it sits or I spend it ... because of all the sales at this time of the year, my cash jar is pretty empty by the end of the week. I think I have like $5 left. LOL. When the sales go away, I expect there to be more moneys in the cash jar.

This means no clothes purchases on plastic; so I better track my "hobby" expenses.
