First the WIW. I decided to try the Born shooties with jeans. I have had these grey levis for a few years and rarely wear them because they are too long for flats and I don't usually wear jeans with heels. Are they ready for the donate bin?
Now shopping. I was at Winners (Canadian TJ Maxx) yesterday and tried on a wool Hilary Radley coat in a medium wine/purple color. I was still thinking about it this morning so went back to try it again thinking I would likely buy it. Instead I saw the cobalt blue with black buttons. I thought it looked very much like the one Sveta posted a week or so ago. I tried it and bought it. What do you think? I thought the color was gorgeous but our coloring is quite different and yet I think it works well for me. I like brights though so maybe I see what I want to see. Is it a keeper for me too?
While there I also tried on this deep pink sweater. It is merino wool and quite soft. As I said, I love color and this is a favorite of mine - I often gravitate to it in even slightly brighter versions. I have been trying to find pieces that are different and this one has the batwing sleeves and the boat neck which is not my norm. What do you think about it. Is is a flattering cut? I was thinking to wear it with a skirt and boots or with jeans.
