I am not keeping these boots, but I thought I would share, because it turns out the back zipper is actually functional and can adjust the boot shaft down to 13"! They are the Naya Quail.

They are really nice, but for whatever reason, they slouch in a very jagged way around the inner ankle. I don't know if this is because my ankles are so proportionately small compared to my calves or what... if you look at pic 5, you can see two distinct indentations instead of a normal drape/slouch. It wouldn't bother me all THAT much, but I really wanted something to wear with the midi in #4. Between the color being darker than I'd hoped, the non-sleek ankle, and the fact that the shaft ends *right* at the midi hem, I have to pass. If you have normal sized ankles and small calves, though, these could be the boots for you - very comfy and well-made.
1-2 is just my WIW from today. $1 orange cowl, and a $10 gray cardi from Target, which has been on my shopping list to pair with brights.
