This sweater is one of my oldest handknit items (probably the oldest that I still have). I don't remember for sure but I think I knit it in 2006! The style is not so in tune with my current style direction, but I still like it for a change, and I love the color, which is a greyed teal that is hard to find.
I figured I'd use it for a loose take on Angie's recent wrap top ensemble, since it's the only wrap top I own. I wanted to wear loose trousers today so I swapped the flares in the ensemble for my navy linen trousers (same style as my orange ones). Shoes were easy because only these platform EF booties and my platform sandals have the 3" heel that these pants require, and it's cold and rainy today so not a time for sandals. Since the wrap sweater is already a topper on its own, I passed on the indoor topper and instead topped this with my red trench for outdoors.
old handknit sweater, Anthro tank, J Crew trousers, Eileen Fisher booties, Anthro trench, Longchamp bag.
