This dress was an orphan...sad and lonely. it fits well and is perfect length...but black is not a color I am drawn to.
So the dress was eventually hidden at the BF because my least favorite clothes end up there for use when I spend the weekend. Last time I was there I used it to shop for a belt to fix a different outfit...but I noticed when I tried this belt over this dress that I liked the look. It made me feel a little Ralph Lauren...
So when I visited yesterday I brought back the belt, the matching shoes and another orphan, my brown jacket. Together this is a 10 on my happiness scale. I feel great!
So odd how orphans can be saved...makes me regret tossing some things because I might have been able to save others given the right inspiration. Lesson learned.
Anyway...I used this pewter necklace to brighten the outfit but do you ladies have any better suggestions. I tonight about a scarf but what kind would work and not go overboard western?
