I haven’t posted a WIW in ages and am really excited about sharing this one. Three new items that make me rather happy, especially when worn together. The first is a Burberry cashmere trench that I admired last year, but could not afford, even at their sale price. I found this coat by a stroke of luck on eBay, in my size, NWT, crazily discounted from the original price, and with the option to return. It’s unlined, but I’m surprised at how warm it is, even in -4C gusty New England weather. The second is a Tibi dress, with functional buttons and a generous side pocket. The fabric is medium- to heavyweight, and didn’t cling to either my woolen tights or coat (I had packed a slip, just in case). The last item is a beret in the colours I love and wear, which means that it matches most of my clothing. I enjoyed wearing this outfit on back-to-back days, and on my return flight, even though the dress ended up being obscured (unexpectedly) during the conference by a rather large accessory.
