Super! I have no time to read the lengthy and probably delightful comments, so I will return. I just quickly wanted to make sure you know that I love this outfit on you. And I have personally been wanting to post outfits in stocking feet, since that is my usual mode, so thanks for helping me decide it is totally ok.

You look very pretty, youthful, and confident. Like Lucy.

Thanks Carambola!

That you Asingh! The embroidery reminds me of European folklore too, which is why I couldn't resist it.

Ramya, I haven't actually seen the movies, but thank you!

Neel, thanks for the pep talk.

Thank you AviaMariah; that is very reassuring.

Thank you JulieJohn for taking the time to let me know! And yep, I've taken quite a few outfit pics in stocking feet. In fact, I've decided to knit a few pairs of colour socks so I have more bookending options, as I spend most of my time in socks anyway. hehe

Another beautifully put together outfit, E!

As Neel has said, we all have our own personal style which is constantly evolving. It is good to be challenged by things we see and read and hear; that is how we change and shift in all sorts of ways! But don't let the opinions of others get you down! It's a delicate balance.

I would pair this outfit with something unexpected. Maybe sleek riding boots or biker boots, and a light leather jacket. Keep the sweet but add something tough!

And definitely keep the Peter Pan collar with the crew necks....... Unless Chippendale is the vibe you are striving for.....???!!! (Insert cheeky giggle here.....)
