Wiw-a bit of animal print

This outfit is very daring for me.Not only I have here a bit of animal print but I'm wearing skinnys with shorter lenght dormant sleeve top.
What are your thoughts about proportion on this one?

The length of the top does seem to be foreshortening you a bit with the skinnies - I am guessing that it would look better either shorter (tucked in?) or longer to tunic length. Love the animal print with it.

I think it looks good because the dolman sleeves on the sweater balance things out. And yay for trying an animal print scarf, that's how I started out too (I have three now and love them all).

You wear the leopard VERY well You make it look current and elegant!

I love the proportions with the coat over the skinnies -- perfect! Without the coat, you might want to hoist up the top a little higher. See what that does for the proportions. . . but I do like the scarf, dolman top, and skinnies with flats. Thsi would also be great with skinnies tucked into riding boots.

Lovely scarf! I think pulling the sweater up just a little bit more would balance everything out nicely. The bag+coat+leopard scarf is yummy looking!

Celia, because of the shirt's volume I think you'll want to create one of two lines: either the sweater hits close to your widest point (a bit lower), or up high enough that you can see the curve of your hip (a bit higher). If that makes sense? This is just what my eyes see of course, and I prefer to see the hip curve

Agree with Aida about the top, and Inge about the animal print scarves! Inge, are you suggesting that animal print scarves are the "gateway drug" to bigger animal print items :)?

I agree with the ladies regarding where the top should hit. Also, play with the vertical line by trying the scarf worn long-wise (draping down your front) instead of around your neck. That is a really cute scarf!

I don't really notice the shortening myself... I think it is because my eyes are drawn to the pattern of the scarf and thus to your pretty face!

I really like this on you! I agree with Sveta/Sara about trying to "hoist" the sweater JUST at touch when it's on its own. GREAT scarf!

LOL Jonesy, that's *exactly* what I'm saying. Before you know it there's an animal print blouse in your closet and you just want to wear it all the time. Be prepared to feel fab and wonder "how did I get here". Good times;-)
