WIW 9-5: baggy white

I was hoping to love this Lululemon sweater as much as others I own but I am not sure we get each other. It's much more sheer than on the site and the kangaroo pocket is an odd touch.

I am sure I will be told to roll the jeans but I tried it and it's much better as is IMO.

- Lululemon sweater, tank, and sports bra

I think you look very fit and lean, and the sweater looks great on you. The jeans are cropped enough for my taste, and the necklace has a very interesting/decorative knot. Lovely.

I think the jeans look great without a roll. Before I read what you wrote I just looked at the photo and thought what a great length they were. I like the sweater too. I really must get a white sweater myself. Yours looks great with that belt peeking out. Fab shoes btw.

You look gorgeous in white.

I don't like to faux tuck tops with kangaroo pockets either - causes a weird drape in front. Perhaps that is what is bothering you about this top?

I love that sweater - have had two of those in the past - one black, and one pale grey. I loved the fabric, and wore mine all the time with either jeans or Lulu tights and a big wrap sweater. I found they stretched a bit (just the right amount) after some wear, and each lasted a few years. You look great in all white - and the styling her is perfect!

I am looking for the kangaroo pocket, and it is not showing up well on my ipad. That said, I love the simplicity of the outfit. Very streamlined and modern. I am betting the shoes bookend your hair. Without your head in the picture, my eye would like to see lighter shoes to bookend the top and elongate the leg line.

Angie - No, I don't mind not faux-ting. I think the issue here is that the kangaroo pocket is too casual for the shape of the rest of the sweater. Also, it's too dainty in size. If you're going to kangaroo, go big, says I.

Thistle - Except for the gray, my hair is dark brown. Not blue like the shoes.

I really like the cream color of the top, but I too am not a big fan of the kangaroo pocket. I agree that it seems a little out of place style-wise.

I do like the belt...it's a very nice style and width for the outfit. Sometimes it's hard to get just the right belt. At least I struggle with that.

I'm late to this, but I like it. You wear white so well. I wonder if maybe a size up in the sweater would have made the kangaroo pocket lie better - you know, so the whole thing would be a little longer and drape more and the pocket wouldn't bunch out as much? I'm kind of a sucker for the sportiness of a kangaroo pocket.
