I had planned a leisurely morning but then my hair colorist called to say she could squeeze me in if I could get there quickly, so I had to grab something quick. And because my pedicure is a total disaster, it had to feature closed-toes shoes! So I grabbed my BF jeans and a white shirt and off I went, feeling reasonably fab under the circumstances.

Cognac satchel: Banana Republic

I feel like the shirt is a little short for the semi-tuck, but I wanted to show the belt so there'd be something to tie in with the cognac bag. Do you think it was an epic fail? Give it to me straight.

In house news, here's a shot of the recessed lighting in the living room, mid-install. When it was finished they were all flush with the ceiling, of course. (Also this gives you a great sense of how the house looks, apart from the guest room, guest bath, and kitchen! Except the other rooms are down to the studs. ) And bonus shot of my awesome new washer and dryer, which were delivered today! (Pay no attention to that hole in the wall...)
