WIW 7/5: Green and dots and blue and watercolor

I don't know whose idea it was to have today be a work day, but I'm not sure I'm totally on board with the whole idea! At least it was a little cooler today. I was happy with how the green polka-dot jacket played so nicely with the watercolor print skirt!

Watercolor print pencil skirt: Halogen
Green jacket: Live a Little (thrifted)
Navy tee: Royalton
White pumps: Jessica Simpson
White satchel: Banana Republic

I was going to wear my multi-strand pearl necklace but decided to leave it off. I think Angie's minimalism is rubbing off on me!

Advanced pattern mixing. I love that green on you. Just look work as an opportunity to put another fab outfit together. That's what I do.

Such fun! I love the pattern mixing grounded with the navy top and white accessories. With all the pattern, I think you were wise to leave the pearls at home unless they were needed to bookend your shoes when you took your jacket off, but your blonde hair would balance things out nicely.

You look great as usual and helps me understand that cooler colors really are refreshing. The pearls would be a bit OTT with the outfit as shown, but when sitting down to work with your bag stashed and jacket hung on the door, I think it would add polish. Now, if your office gets hot, esp. by afternoon, forget such any hot addition!!!

What I can't figure out is how you manage to make white pumps look so modern? Perhaps it's the California Girl tan gams. Sigh.

Wow - love these colors on you! - and, I think that the white trim on the jacket is enough of an "accessory" without adding a necklace. I am amazed at what workhorses your white shoes and handbag have become! Bet your CPW is making you smile!
