WIW 7/29 : Soft Wide Summer Pants

Hi,

I’ve been wanting to try wide leg soft pants for a while and thought they would be the perfect comfortable addition to my summer wardrobe, especially for this very hot summer. I bought these pants two weeks ago and here are a few versions I wore these days.

1.with white blouse and white tee, white sandals, silver bag and coral bag (#1-2)

2. black tee, light pink sandals and white bag (#3)

3. very old fuchsia tee, white sandals and white bag.(#4)

What do you think, does it work? They are really very comfortable and excellent for summer.

So pretty! Like others I prefer white tops with printed pants that have a bit of white in them but all outfits are great - fab addition to summer collection!

Those pants are so chic and summery looking. I really like them with the white top and both bags. Also the pattern mix with the black top. The fuschia tee is cute with them, too; I just prefer the other combos. I find your creative outfits inspiring.

SUZ, yes, I tried some different combinations, as the white top is the normal choice.
BROOKLYN, the first top is also H&M, but very old, before I joined YLF, maybe 8 years. It's a viscose oversized and really very good for skirts.

Well done. I like the boxy white top the best, but all look good. Did you hem them? they seem the perfect length to the floor, but not too long to get in the way.

You make everything look so classy! The basic combo of white + patterned pants (with white background) looks like you’re at a swanky garden party. The fuchsia top is an inspired pairing. To my eye it looks very current.

Love the pants with the first white blouse the best - it gives it that 'easy breezy' feel for summer. I know I know, you were expecting me to prefer the colourful option, weren't you? :p

The pattern on the trousers is lovely too - geometric whilst still feeling organic (like mosaic tiles). A slight TMI perhaps but I find such busy patterns great in the summer because they help hide perspiration marks!
