1/2. I went to the theatre last night to the opening of a very fun play -- Buyer and Cellar, about a fictional guy who works in Barbra Streisand's real-life shopping-mall-in-her-basement. It was a blast! I felt like my copycat was missing something (since my skirt is plain, not textured) so I added the denim vest and felt dressy-casual fab. And I am virtually certain I was the only person in the opening-night crowd who was wearing a rash guard as a top!

Black skirt: Halogen
Striped top: Lands End
Denim vest: Levi's
Black pumps: Jessica Simpson
Black bag: Coach
Pendant: H&M

2/3: I've been wanting to try this outfit for a while and the weather finally cooperated today. I must admit I changed out the colorblock tote for a black one on my way out the door for work -- it just seemed A Little Much with the black and white shoes. But the happiness factor for this outfit is sky-high. I feel like it says "Let's go play golf in the 1930s!" LOL

White skirt: Zara
Black sweater: hand-me-down
Black and white oxfords: Doc Marten
Colorblock tote: Steve Madden

Thanks for looking! And my goodness! I have to say those models work hard for their money! You wouldn't believe how many tries it took me to get a not-completely-horrifying version of the original in #2!
