On the Memorial Day it warmed up compared to the dreadfully cold and rainy weekend, and it was just warm enough for light layers. I spent a good portion of the day walking outside and running various errands.

These are my first G-Star jeans, and I really like them and strongly recommend them to anyone looking for something similar. I am not quite sure if they are relaxed straights or slim wide crops - what do you think? They are very high waisted, and they nip in at the waist, so for once, no waist tailoring required. The color is called "milk" , a nice soft white which is difficult to find, neither bright white nor ivory. The denim has a little bit of stretch, which I like, as it makes it soft and comfy. I also like the G-Star offers various inseam lengths, I could choose the one I needed so no hemming required, either.

The turquoise ribbed tank (that I got in 4 colors!) and cream cropped boxy chunky cardigan are both recent Loft purchases. I have had lots of luck with Loft this spring for my casual wardrobe refresh, for affordable trendy casual tops and knitwear. I went for the bigger of my two sizes for the cardi, as I wanted it quite slouchy.

The Vince sneaker are a recent find at Nordstrom Rack, part of my sneaker refresh.

As always, all the comments and suggestions are welcome!
