WIW 4-10 - I look delicious (thinking of eating own arm)

The good news is, I am hypoglycemic and on this new protein-intense limited-calories diet, I have had only one serious blood sugar drop in a week. The bad news is, I have turned into a golden retriever because *all I can think about is food.* I've started asking my friends to describe their meals. No, I'm not kidding.

Also I am going to get all my hair chopped back because hardcore workouts begin tomorrow. Thinking a Ginnifer Goodwin-style pixie.

Very nice outfit. I love the cobalt blue with the black. Your shoes look fab too! That haircut is just wonderful! I say go for it!

Fabulous outfit, IK! I love the cobalt dress, and the "open/sheerness" of the boxy top over it. It looks breezy and cool.

I love that haircut! I think it would suit you very well because your hair looks wavy and has some body. I had that cut for a while and I really liked it. The only challenge I had was getting it to stay at least kind of straight in the humidity, since my hair is naturally curly (very curly around my face). I had to use a lot of product in it and kind of spend some time working with it in the morning. But I think a really short pixie is actually really great when I'm working out, because it's easy to put a wide headband in keep it completely pulled back, and then afterwards, relatively easy to style quickly and be on my way.

Wow, thank you so much Angie! : ) Oh man! Every time I'm on restricted calories, it makes me want to browse through cookbooks even more. Especially Nigella Lawson cookbooks. I need to get some Cooking Light ones or something as a deterrent.

I'm surprised that with all the protein your not starting to see you workout buddies as tasty snacks. I found that line hilarious.

I actually love the outfit on you. I think skirts and dresses can be really flattering on someone with slim hips and broader shoulders. The black sweater makes it more YOU.

You are gonna blow GG out of the water with that cut. Good luck with the hardcore workouts.

Well, as magnificently as you can do black and white, you do color just as brilliantly! Love the simplicity, flow and power of the cobalt dress. I've never thought to pair it with purple, but I'll remember this for the future! And I think the pixie would be terrific for you style and the intensity of your summers! Go for it!

Here's my b'fast... one of those tiny yogurt probiotic "shot" things, trader joe's frozen chicken, 1/2 tomato, and dollop of hummus. Now snacking on almonds (included to maybe bore you a bit re: food - I'm trying to cut back, too, after all the pizza!).

I'm loooving those floaty layers on you, too. The color combo makes it feel edgy to me. You are going to look HOT in that haircut!

The dress is fantastic on you! I love it paired with the black too and the sandals are beyond awesome. I say go for the pixie... it should look good with your facial structure.

I am super impressed with your willpower re: the diet. I would so not be able to stick to it! But it does seem like it's having positive benefits, so yay!

I'm hypoglycemic also! The exclamation point makes it seem like this is a good thing lol. Good luck on your diet! I just...eat constantly >.> but i try to pick good snacks....usually. And i try to concrete my carbs in proteins when i can.

In the meantime, in the spirit of Rae's post, this was my dinner a couple of hours ago --- consisting of a bowl of beans cooked with random broken-up lasagna sheets and chunks of green pumpkin (well, some variety of summer squash, I guess) and a splash of coconut milk. Sufficiently appetite-deterring, I trust?

As usual, I'm hard put to look past the sandals --- even though you're wearing my favourite colour in a new combo I'm starting to love: black and blue! and looking extremely svelte and breezy while you're about it!

Black and blue is one great combo for you. I think you will rock that short do and add your edgy twist to it.

Inspiring that you can keep to this plan - make sure you tell the trainer if you are really crashing though and maybe some adjustments can be made?
