DP is hilarious. However, my philosophy is that more is not always better. Would he have two desserts? I like both, but would prefer to see them separately!

I would totally have two desserts.

You look amazing in that dress and I am so happy I have now met you IRL. Love your DP's attitude; that's the way to roll in life and with someone who thinks like that. I like what Angie said. Very 2014.

You look absolutely fantastic. I see no reason why you could not wear this to work. I think it's more than appropriate because you look confident, the dress isn't tight and you're covered up.

However you have to be comfortable -- for some people this is too form-fitting for work. If that's your issue you could dress it down with a fluid fitting cardi in fuchsia or black that hits below your hip line and belt it with a skinny belt in purple, mustard or yellow. You could also do the same with a skinny belt (fuchsia, mustard, purple, yellow etc...) under a black well-fitting jacket. Kitten heels or pointed toe flats would finish off the look.

Two desserts? No problem! I love the dress and shoes together - it makes for some fun pattern mixing!

You look smashing in that dress. You should be wearing it to work and getting maximum mileage from it. I agree the shoes would be over the top for work, but for going out - yeh, why not.

Love that dress! I think you have a quirky personality that can support this floral on floral outfit, adorkable!
Rabbit and DV- I love hearing your styling suggestions!

This is completely awesome and I love it!!!!

Thanks, all, for the wonderful styling selections - we'll see if a jacket lets me take it to work soon!

carter: DP stands for my "dear/darling partner"!

That dress is freakin' fantastic! I think you could throw a blazer over and some sheer tights under and go to most workplaces easily.

As for the shoes, I think you could either go for less or more... either separate the two florals or add more florals. I read in a magazine once that head-to-toe floral feels just as edgy as head-to-toe black.

Late to the party, but I love the dress and shoes together. To me they don't even look "intentionally mismatched."

Woa - I love this outfit from head to toe! Only thing that I would change to make it a little more 2014 is to swap out the black handbag for a floral clutch. (That's right - I would go for 3 desserts!)
You look beautiful!

Marley- OMG you have just taken this to another level- a three dessert level! Oh, yeah!

Wow! You look stunning. You have a beautiful figure and the dress flatters you like crazy. I love the shoes and dress together for a night out. Very cool. For work I would probably just go for plain pumps but definitely wear the dress and shoes together for special occasions. Devine.

You look awesome!
I love the way the YLF crew is divided over the shoes. I adore them for a night out, but agree it would be too much for work. I have similar dresses for work, which I wear with opaque tights (not too much leg!) and a bit of a jacket on top. Lots of good options suggested by everyone...
But really, I just wanted to say this is a fab frock.

Fantastic outfit! Wow. That dress and those shoes look simply smashing on you!

I'm a fan of the pattern mixing with the floral dress and shoes together. Yes, a solid color shoe would have gone nicely, but this flower and flower mixing looks edgier and more current to me.
