Congratulations on the reunion! These moments are the best in life, aren't they?
This is a great copy of Ines's outfit and it looks great on you, hectically happy :-). Honestly I was surprised to see Ines wearing this, it looks so not like her (at least in how I imagine her). I guess there are more sides to her style than I realized...

a big welcome home to your son. your smile is all that you needed to wear, but the outfit looks great as well!

Your marine is so tall! You look happy and great outfit. Was it cold in California? Lots of layers on

What a happy day! This outfit reminds me of the stripes with plaid and pearls Pinterest outfit - I love it! You know I will have to attempt to copy!

Welcome home, Marine! Wow, do you two ever look alike. A happy outfit for a happy occasion.

HAPPY REUNION. That's brilliant, Mary.

*happy dance*

And you look tastefully ALGO and fun to meet your special boy. xo

A fabulous outfit for a fabulous day!

You totally own that look. Those cargoes are the bomb. You and your son both look fab. Congrats.

Th minute I read "precious package" I just knew it was your son. YAY !!!!!!

You look so great. But my favorite "accessory" is the one on your arm in the second photo ( though I am not sure about scale....but who cares ) ! : )

Great outfit, handsome boy. Looks like mama!

Aw, thank you all so very much! It was such a special, special day! Originally he wasn't supposed to come inuntil 9:30 at night, but when he got to Seattle (*waving at Angie and Anna et al!*) he was able to get an earlier flight and I jumped in the car and we both got to San Diego at about 2 p.m. so we had the whole afternoon and evening together! We're staying at my parents' timeshare at the beach at Oceanside for a few days of R&R before heading home and all the hustle and bustle that entails, including a trip to San Francisco with his dad and aunt. He is my very very very favorite person in the whole wide world and I am so thrilled to just be in the same room with him!

Right now, of course, he is sleeping off the 24-hour travel day!

P.S. It cracks me up how Ines is looking at me in the "copycat" collage!

You look fantastic - and I'm so happy for you! What a great day - and what a handsome son!

This post just makes me smile so much. Happy reunion! I like the daring combination.

Yay for a happy reunion and a fun outfit for the occasion.

Congratulations to you and your handsome son on your reunion. What a precious time. Thank you for sharing it.

Oh what a great day! Your son looks so grown up from when he first joined the military!

It warms my heart to hear that he wants to spend time with you instead of rushing off to see friends (says the mom with two teenagers).

What a fun outfit, and what a day! So glad you will be able to spend more time with your son now that he will be posted closer to home.
