Yes I do have a range of dressiness Aida lol and there is no harm in asking. I work at Dressbarn and so my work attire is very fluid. As long as I am not wearing shorts, club attire, or clothing that is too casual I can wear just about anything (I do have to make sure that I don't wear clothing that is too revealing or casual though). Aida, don't be too harsh of a judge but I actually wore my heels with the skirt (the heels are a very low chunky heel, though I will definitely take what you're saying into consideration the next time that I wear my skirt to work). As far as the skirt goes Aida, I haven't thought of that but I think that you might be on to something. I think that I will try that. The only problem is that I don't have a neutral colored blouse that is that style.
I have to agree with just about everything that was posted about my puckered zipper, honestly all of my denim tends to do that (even the skirt I am wearing puckers up in the front). Are there any solutions for it because one of the ladies who came into the store one day (after she tried on a pair of trousers said that they gave her boy parts). After I picked my jaw up from the floor I had to raise my hand and tell her that I knew where she was coming from. Oh, and thank you Shiny for the tips. I need to invest in some more belts and I will be sure to look into what you're saying.
Yes my polka dot peplum top is a tad bit too short (unfortunately I really like it). If anyone has any ideas on how to style a peplum top with a high waisted skirt that would be greatly appreciated. I always figured that the peplum would ruffle and cause unsightly bumps and lumps under the skirt.
I know Cerlina. I really like coral and I love the color navy (though I have to admit I personally prefer it on individuals with cool skin tones and dark hair). I am afraid that my skin is a little too warm for it to look good on me (and quite honestly I think that it looks amazing on fair skinned blondes, red heads, and brunettes but it is such a pretty color). I
And as far as the dress goes in the first photo, I had no intentions on buying it (I bought it from my job, and I promise that I don't abuse my employee discount privileges... at least not that often lol). My mom talked me into the dress, I liked the style but I personally don't like having too many clothes but I really like the high neckline and the fact that I can wear the dress to church, work, out on dates with my boyfriend, and etc.
Thanks for the all of the compliments and sorry for the long post everyone. I will be sure to take a picture of my shoes and of some of the jewelry I wore.
