WIW 26.01.13 - another tunic outfit

Here is my 2nd WIW. Funny, it is very similar to my first! LOL I recently bought a few items and the two WIWs show the longer tunics I bought to go over skinny bottoms. I promise my next WIW will NOT feature a long striped tunic!

Looking at the two WIWs I think I prefer this one but I am a sucker for red, white and blue. Always have been, always will be, I suppose. It also has a gold zipper detail at the shoulder which I really like. I also like that the red detail is at the top of the shirt, drawing the eye upwards. Never thought I could wear horizontal stripes much less white bottoms, but I felt pretty good in this outfit!

Tunic: Eloquii by the Limited
White pants: Alfani (Macys)
Necklace: Macys (but I think I am going to have to return it, already showing discoloration after only two wears! UGH!)
Boots: Duo UK

NIce outfit! I like the pants tucked into the boots. I really need to do that with my white jeans. The tunic is a great transitional piece moving into spring.

Carole, thank you for the kind reply. My first WIW was very similar to this one, just different colors. I think this one is more flattering, based on seeing myself in the pics.

Suz, I am surprised but I liked the pants tucked into boots. So far I have only worn skinny jeans or leggings tucked into the boots but surprisingly these pants worked just as well. They are a bit looser fitting than the other bottoms I've worn tucked in but I think they work. You should try it for sure! And yes, the tunic will be a good piece for me. Our weather here is less drastic than what I'm used to in the USA so I think I will be able to wear the tunic several months of the year, all except the hottest (relatively speaking) months.
