WIW 2/22: Boxy shirt under a boxy sweatshirt at the salon

I was thrilled when I saw this post, because I have all the pieces right down to the cobalt clutch. Plus this boxy white shirt has been a little bit of a closet orphan so it's nice to take it out for a spin! Just right for a morning at the hair salon!

This Target watch has been a real workhorse for $14.99, but today I noticed I've somehow managed to crack the crystal. I think I may be making a trip to the Rack to see about replacing/upgrading!

Thanks, ladies! Although I must say 100% of the credit goes to Angie, who is the brains behind this operation!

Update: I noticed my beloved $14.99 Target "gold" watch somehow suffered a cracked crystal, so I went out in search of a replacement and found this beauty at Charming Charlie, of all places. (You may not be able to tell with the glare, but it's "gold" with a blue face.) It was only $20 and they even sized it for me! So now I am a perfect copy in all respects!

Vildy, I know you're joking, but you know what? I went to the mall today to return some stuff, and I felt like I looked great. I wandered in and out of a few stores and I felt like I was way chicer than anybody shopping in Chadwick's or J Jill or even Macy's. And I fit right in with the younger people at GAP and Banana Republic. I felt like I would have felt nicely put together and casually chic even if I had been in Hollywood or Beverly Hills!

And you know what else? It wasn't because i was wearing anything expensive or particularly special - it was because my outfit was styled by Angie, who is a fashion genius and knows how to take pieces anybody has on hand and combine them into something special! It's pretty great to have our own YLF stylist giving us fab ensembles every Friday, isn't it?

Nodding my head in agreement with you Mary. Owning the "right" clothes is only half the battle, then one needs to know the 'right' way to put together the outfits. And Angie is genius at that. And you are genius with how well (and fast) you copy the looks. You have a superb wardrobe.
