I agree with the others. It was very sweet (and touching) for you to honor your day in this way. You look KILLER in this outfit. The colors and texture are beautiful, and those is just enough of edge to still feel like you. I definitely think this look should go in the first date capsule.

love the jeans. you look great.

Very sweet of you to change! The sweater is beautiful on your complexion.

Sidenote - are those the Rockport Presia booties? How comfortable are they? I've just ordered them in black...

Anna, I love this outfit on you. The combined textures in the jeans and boots still keeps it "funky" and you and the simplicity of everything else really lets those two items shine. Sweet of you to change for your dad!

Wow, you look fantastic in this outfit. Super slim, very elegant, and yet still you. Probably one of my favorite WIWs of yours that I've seen since I joined YLF.

Nothing wrong with appeasing the old man, especially when the result is this stunning.
You really do look very leggy in those jeans.

Thanks everyone! I will file this away for future reference.

Yes, Emily they're the Presia. For the height they're really comfortable. If it wasn't for my back I'd probably could wear them for hours.

You look fabulous, no wonder you father liked it!

I'm sooo jealous on this one! I fell in love with that Rockport snakeskin but the shoes are completely out of the question for my wobbly ankle and the clutch just too impractical. AND, I am love with those jeans. Plus the whole ensemble is just so pretty on YOU!
It's so interesting to see stuff from the store in an actual outfit. The snake print really functions as a neutral, with added interest.

You look great! Dare I say it - it's a very *conventionally flattering outfit* - i.e., modest but attractive and shapely. Not to mention, fashion forward: it's still interesting.

And yes, it was very lovely of you to dress for you dad. There's this line from the horrible, torrid (but fun!) mini series, Princess Daisy, about daughters keeping fathers young in that way. I think it's a good principle. Always remembered it.

Of course, being the wretched creature I am, I'm not I've ever seen you look so normal and I'm not sure I like it. Lol.
