I really, really love the color combo in today's ensemble post, so pretty! Lilac is one of my best colors and I really like it, so I was quite a bit disappointed when looking through my closet to realize that I only have a few lilac pieces. I used to have a lot of it, but I guess most of the pieces must have been purged recently with a shift to looser fit. So I must keep this in mind for the upcoming holiday sales. On the other hand, toffee is not one of my good colors ( taupe works much better), but I do have a pair of fun coated toffee jeans and snow leopard booties with print in toffee, white and super dark brown.

So today's outfit is based on those coated Habitual toffee jeans and snow leopard Petty's. I added a J Crew lilac merino sweater and slightly darker lilac BR cashmere infinity scarf. Final touches were an off-white belt and my newest wardrobe pet, Helmut Lang sweatshirt in off-white! I have been wanting it forever, but wasn't too happy with its price. Nordstrom recently ran a 30% off promo of it so I pounced. I really hope it becomes a workhorse. It is super cold outside so I will probably top this all with a wool coat.
