Wow, these jeans are a perfect fit &the outfit is a great biz casual inspiration! Love the bag, too:-)

Janet the outfit looks really nice on you. I love the flared jeans with it, you have reminded me that I have a similar shirt . Going to see if I can style and wear it today. Thinking about you selling the house , its tough I sold my Mums last year.

Thanks, all!

The house sale was almost anticlimactic. A little weird, really. The buyer didn't come to the closing -- he signed the paperwork at his realtor's office down in DC while I signed at my realtor's office in Baltimore, so I never even got to meet him. I've never been at a settlement like that before. It's an odd feeling to let go of a house that was in the family for almost half a century, but my sister and I are at peace with it. We're both at a point in our lives where we're interested in simplifying things.

Sorry I missed this look earlier. You look the way cooler version of my classic (sometimes boring) blazer, silk shirt/sweater, jeans outfits. It's all in the details. Glad you rescued your leopard. I've decided to keep all leopard items in my wardrobe until they fall apart (they always come back).
Glad the closing was something you are at peace with!

Gorgeous!!! Wish I could wear this kind of style.

You look amazing Janet! One of my favorites this year, it needs to go in the best of 2016 file.

How did I miss this? What a fantastic outfit. Great save on the shirt and the bag and jacket are just brilliant with it.

I missed this too! It's like a really rock n roll outfit but at the same time totally sharp and professional. You have an eye for unique pieces and putting them together!

Sorry about the house, I'm sure it held many memories. When I had to sell my condo some years ago, my dad and I were sad because we fixed it up by ourselves and we loved the place. And we only owned it for ten years, so just a fraction of your family property.
