WIW 1-22: How do dudes do it?

I'm wearing the R13 jeans I had to wear wet from the knee down to get them over my calves *eeeyaaagh yuck!* They are men's "droopy" jeans and they have given me extreme sympathy for our laddies, because any boy who could pull these over his scrawny calves will find these do indeed droop right off his presumably equally scrawny butt. Maybe it's designed for men who think their equipment needs lots of swinging room? In any case, I don't think they look terrible on me but the crotch is at least an inch and a half below my actual parts.

Question on the boots: Too much with the jacket? Hope I don't look too Harley Honey in this rig.

Living in the home of Harley, I can assure you that you do not have the Harley Honey look

You do look terrific, and I am not sure what to say on the jeans. In know DH refuses to wear anything other than relaxed fit. When skinnies were briefly popular here for teenage boys, he would shake his head in sympathy. Granted, you never saw the athletes in this style of pants.

Well I don't know how dudes do it but you sure pulled this off! You have great casual style and know what works for your body. Perseverance paid off with the jeans. Are they comfy in the lower leg?
I can see these jeans looking equally fab with light colors.

That is my preferred fit on the slouch of the crotch. I think they look good! Your drapey Ts in white will look great with these.

Love those jeans on you - you're rocking the heck out of them! Great mens dept. find. I think the boots and jacket both look great. I agree with Ceit, too, that a white tee would look fab against the light wash.

I really like the jacket, and don't think it's too moto-looking at all with the boots. I'm not sure who those jeans are actually intended to fit, but they do look good on you.

I LOVE the boots with the jacket! I'm baffled with you of how guys wear these. They must be intentionally falling off their backside.

@Debbie - I sure hope not. I'll probably wash them cold, then hang dry with a towel stuffed in each lower leg.

The jeans look great on you! I had no idea they were men's until reading your description (which was quite amusing). All DH's siblings and their spouses ride Harleys, and no, you do not look like a Harley Honey.

Ik - despite the "technical dificulties" of the outfit it looks great!! Gosh is that what you have to go through to get jeans to look good in boots without all the knee scrunch and bunching? Love the Zara moto with this too. I agree "swinging room" gave me a total chuckle - can't you see some dude yelling his "man parts need to breathe!!" Wait wasn't there a Seinfelf episode of this with kramer? of course the theme song, better yet video, playing in the backround would need to be Richie Haven's "Freedom."

Lol! When I see guys in super tights jeans I wonder too. Maybe they're all secretly wearing dropped versions though.

Love the look, especially with the jacket. One of my uncles is a Harley guy, and you definitely don't look like his girlfriend!

Love the moto with the boots! Only the sleeves are leather, so it doesn't look like too much at all. Also loving the light wash jeans with black.

I think this fit of pants is European and fashion-forward. I do think you're pulling it off successfully here. I have experimented with this look and it can be trickily. I now have a pair of 5 Units pants with a drop crotch and am on the fence whether they look cool, sloppy, or downright ugly. But the newer/forward looking aspect of this design has won my heart.

I'm laughing WITH you, not at you...this is how I feel trying on jeans at the Gap! I hate feeling the pants crotch not meet up where it's supposed to!
