WIW- pattern mixing in blue

Hello YLF,

After yesterday's post I decided that the best remedy was to post an WIW every day( as in a WIW every day keeps the bad mood away).
This is a diferent version of yesterday blog post by Angie and perhaps I should ne ashamed that DD came up with this combination but the truth is i am enjoying it.
What do you think of this one?

I really like this pattern mixing with both patterns the same blue. Something about this really appeals to me. The black and blue together look great!

Suz, yes this is your scarf.Although the blue us diferent from the jacket they go really well together. DD has an enormous creative streak in her along with the drama queen personality

Ceit, I am curious, why neo Victorian? puff shoulders in jackets and lace up boots make think more of Victorian.Just curious.

I am so happy to see that scarf work so well with the jacket! It is beautiful on you.

I was thinking it might work with your camel coat, too...or maybe even the teal coat, though I am not sure...depends.

I see what Ceit sees, though I might have said "Edwardian." It is the jacket's nipped in waist combined with the scarf, which might have been a jabot in that time. Almost Lady-equestrienne. If you had a full skirt with a bustle you would be riding side-saddle.

Suz I see what you mean, I guess I never think about it that way because this is my natural proportion between shoulders and waist, if that makes sense.
The scarf will work with a lot of different coats and jackets in my closet, maybe even the teal one.

OMG, this is the coolest pattern mix i've seen in a long time! That scarf is TDF, and I am so picky about prints - want!!

Yes I suppose Edwardian is a touch more accurate with a narrower bottom silhouette.
