WIW- overalls

I just read Ornella's kind post and decided to jump in with my first picture...
So here is my WIW from Saturday.
I found these Topshop overalls at a great price.
If you have other ideas on how to wear overalls, or any suggestions, please share.

Cute retro look! In fact you look a lot like a photo I have of my Mum in the mid 70s

How about unbelted with a rugby stripe shirt and converse?

Or a white button down and heels?

Ceit, I think the white button down and heels will work. The rugby and converse with no belt is a really nice idea but I don't think it will look good on me without a belt. I think I would love it on someone else.

Pill. The overalls look very nice in black, and I love the first one, with the red purse and shoes.
I also have the BlankNYC which is fitted and I think it will be great with that first "look".

I would say lose the belt. I think overalls are one of those items that will never be conventionally flattering so you need to embrace the whackadoodle and manrepeller.

I think they are super cool, I want a black pair to wear rolled up with ballet flats and a white tee for summer

I like your styling here:). I also agree the belt looks good and creates definition. Something about overalls makes me want to add pearls

Thanks for the links Annagybe, they look nice and relaxed. I wear them at home without the belt but I prefer them on me with the belt.
Debra, go for the black overalls, they will look super nice on you with what you described.
Deborah, I think your idea of the pearls sounds great. I will have to find some long ones though.
El Cee and Debora, you guys are too kind. Debora, that picture was taken in Manhattan, in the Village, close to my favorite bakery.
