WIW- Maryk neutral challenge, Monday

Hello YLF,

I actually didn't do it on purpose but yesterday I ended up participating in Maryk neutral challenge.
I guess all of you can agree that this dress pants are not the best fit( in fact they are a bit big) but it is too late in the season to buy new ones.
This is a very masculine look but i felt cool in it.For years I used to think that because of my broad figure whenever I tried mire masculine looks they came out ad butch but lately I'm reconsidering that and find that I enjoy alternating very curvy and feminine looks with this kind of English man look.
After seing the picture I actually let my hair down and felt that the look was better.

How do you feel about masculine looks on you?

I don't see masculine at all--they may be masculine pieces but on you they look very feminine. Great outfit! Awesome neutral vest!

The pants don't look too big to me at all! I like menswear looks, on basically everyone. On you I like the menswear vibe and the close fit - with your curves it's a nice masculine/feminine contrast.

Great point everyone.These are menswear inspired items( the vest is a very masculine plaid) but the silhouette is not masculine at all.
Glad you pointed that out because now I know how to make this work for me.

I love this sort of menswear *inspired* look on you. The pieces are cut to fit a woman's body and accentuate all of those curves. I love the vest and bag!

I like it Celia, it's a great "menswear inspired" look, certainly not too masculine looking. I love wearing this type of look, and like you I usually leave my hair down or put it up really high to add a girly element.

(Pssstttt... are the pants a wee bit short? They would look super elegant if they were sweeping the ground.)

Aida - ehe you caught me that is one of the many details that could be better with this pants.
