in the keeping it real vain of WIW's….the last 2 days have been the coldest i can remember. highs of 5F, with wind chills of -25F. (today, heatwave of 35F, but mother nature is having the last laugh, as we are getting 5-8 inches of snow, which for many cities is no big deal, but seems to paralyze mine.) anyway….for the last 2 days its been all about the cold, which as meant layers. and i hadn't realized a single color scheme--cream and navy. so, not the most fashionable looks, but they worked.

#1. thursday --it was so cold my glasses frosted up as i was walking from my office to the car. these are my inside shoes, wore my bean boots outside. not seen, tights under that pants and uniqlo heat tech tee under the sweater. it was actually warm enough inside for a few hours that i could take the blazer off!
#2 friday ---wool flannel pants (again with tights), and under the cozy chunky wool sweater, a tank top and a tee shirt.
the outer layer had a red scarf, and a wooly pupleish hat with giant flowers. sorry no picture, as inside i was overheating.

looking back, i realize how the weather totally dictated these look, and seemed to have stripped them of any interest. i hope winter is over soon, i'm so over this.
anyway, thanks for looking, and all comments, ideas, feedback and coping mechanisms welcome.
