On Monday for the holiday we had spectacular weather, after a weekend of cool temps and rain. My BFF came up to visit and we spent the day walking all around Annapolis, shopping and enjoying lunch and ice cream. It was delightfully normal — most places are mask-optional at this point (my friend is a surgeon and we are both fully vaccinated).
The temps that day were right on the cusp of warm enough for short sleeves with no jacket, so I was glad to have the denim jacket to put on when we were in the shade and take off when it warmed up. My bag is roomy enough that I could stuff the jacket in there, LOL.
Pants: Sundry — three separate people complimented me on these pants! The little animal print side stripe makes them. I had them altered so the waist fits me properly now, and had the back pockets removed because they were a bit bunchy. They are new workhorses and will be useful throughout summer because they are lightweight. I would duplicate in another color if I could find one that suited me.
Tee: new Lilla P v-neck I found on sale. My new favorite white tee that replaces an old Madewell one that is getting too thin. I’d duplicate this in another color too.
Sandals: Sofft metallic gladiators. Angie picks! Instant workhorses — I’ve already worn them a bunch. They go with everything and are super comfortable.
Belt: Fossil metallic belt from ages ago, I think possibly ten years old.
White denim jacket: Aqua from Bloomingdales ages ago — on a YLF meetup shopping session with Angie! It still looks great after, what? 8 or 9 years?
Bag: old favorite Aimee Kestenberg backpack — the color is repeated in my pedicure and in my ring, which was a gift from my husband.
