I am dipping my toes in some new- to-me trends - wide leg crops and earth tones. And I like it! Plus I semi-tucked and actually wore it out of the house! DD told me that "French tucks" were totally acceptable and somehow that made it feel less alien to my style. Oh the joy of approval of a college student!

After dusting off my studded leather boots for YLF assessment with a dressy packable outfit, I decided I needed to test their comfort for all day wear. I wore this for errand running and appointments. Cool in the mountain morning air, so I grabbed a jacket, but shed it by the time I dropped 1500 feet in elevation to the big city.

Sometimes I cuff the pants inside for a bit of a hack, but yesterday I was feeling like an ankle length to blend with the booties better.

The jacket is a cool olive tone which plays well with my navy. I bought some high rise carpenters pants in the same tone and quite like them. And a dark tan version in Tall is coming at me so I can see if they work full length.

All these colors are giving my Uniqlo Andy Warhol tee a work out! And I'm seriously considering some mustard accessories. So never say never!
