Good morning! I am back from a few days at a resort with 700 of my closest coworkers. That means I’m tired, and I’m keeping this weekend pretty casual, though I am going to see friends tomorrow. I’m wearing this today for lounging at home and then a picnic and Shakespeare show in the park.
I’ve decided recently to try to stop wearing PJs so much in the house, at least during the day. I do need to be really comfortable at home, though. I really can’t stand where anything constricting when I’m lounging around. Getting a dress like this helps because I can wear it comfortably in the house but throw on shoes in a bag and go out. It also satisfies my need for a beach vibe in the summer.
I like to have dresses I can dress up or down a bit. Not sure about this one for work, except maybe as a tunic over white jeans? (This isn’t Boden, for once! It’s by Beach Lunch Lounge. No find, but Sals Off 5th has it in another color if you look.) I like how the fact that it’s a shirt dress adds just enough structure.
