WIW - tomato, black and white

This is what I wore to work today. Tomato suit, black and white top and black and white heels with teal handbag. I wear suits almost every day and sometimes think my outfits are not fab enough to photograph and share. Most bankers dress quite plainly. However, I thought posting them might invite suggestions for improvements so I am sharing with you lovely ladies.

I have no suggestions. This looks so fab!
The red is striking on you and the black and white of the top and shoes compliment it beautifully. The teal bag is a great choice.

You look like a very stylish banker! Fab, love the tomato suit. I have no need for suits beyond job interview/funeral type situations, so I only get boring basic ones that 'suit' such occasions

Way back when I worked at a bank, one of my favorite suits was red wool. I loved that suit! But I didn't have fab shoes like yours!!

This is stunning, Hedgie! I love the color, and the shoes kick up the fun and style. How clever to choose classic business silhouettes with bold color and cheeky accessories.

I don't think it needs any improvement, but I could see you belting the shell under the jacket, and really scrunching those sleeves!

This colour of red is lovely on you, and I think the shoes are brilliant with it. I agree, try belting the shell and scrunching sleeves! I think just little tweaks will make it come alive.

I'd say this is far from Banker Staid as one can get while still falling into the "suit and heels" category -- how fun!

Love how the heels/blouse echo each other without being twins, and you can really carry off the higher-contrast look here. Did you feel great in this?

Thanks everyone, for the feedback and suggestions! I shall make an effort to post my "boring banker" outfits more often. It's wonderful to get someone else's view on what I deem as my uniform. I'v been dressing this way for so long that sometimes I forget fashion is fun, even at work!

I beg to differ! You look absolutely amazing in this! Red is so flattering to you and the crisp details are so feminine. If you were my banker, I would be making an appointment with you as often as possible and I would trust you absolutely! Just gorgeous.
