These boots were a 40th birthday gift. I never, ever thought I'd wear turquoise butterfly boots, but when I tried them on I had to have them. They go with nothing and thus go with everything!

The one downside to cowboy boots is that, although you'd *think* bootcut jeans would work, they really don't. The top of the boot presses against the leg and makes a weird shape. So instead I wear my cowboy boots with wide-leg jeans. These are linen-blend from J Brand, and I had them altered to go straight down (they used to flare more). I think they are a weeeeeeee bit short for this heel, but what the hey.

- Steven Alan liberty-print shirt
- J Brand linen-blend jeans
- Turquoise cowboy boots

I love Steven Alan button-downs, but every single one I own has lost the very bottom button in the wash. I have no idea why. Weird, right?
