WIW - the patterned bomber and lace pencil skirt

Debuting the bomber! Keeping it simple with black tee and the comfiest lace pencil skirt ever. I could stand for the skirt length to be a couple inches shorter to hit at a more flattering spot just below my knee, but I think this is OK. Metallic sandals and clutch -- I think I am gunning for the title of Queen Clutch! Added just a hint of color in my watchband to pick up the green in the bomber. It's hot here today (87!) so the lightweight fabrication of the bomber is ideal. Comments & suggestions welcome!

Thanks, ladies! I enjoyed wearing this. It's a bit more dressed-up casual for me, but the comfort factor makes it easy to choose this as an alternative to another day of jeans.

Deborah, yes, the bomber has a slightly stretchy black band at the wrists, hem, and collar. The fabrication of the jacket is that of a very lightweight nylon windbreaker, which I like -- the fabric is sporty, which offsets the print in a fun way. Seriously, it weighs almost nothing. I have a running jacket that is somewhat sheer that weighs more than this jacket, if not for the zipper!

I was impressed that I didn't feel too warm in the little time I was out and about in the afternoon, but as the sun went down and a breeze kicked up, I was comfortable in this walking around downtown Annapolis in the early evening.

Perfection. This is one of my favorites from you, and I have pinned it for future inspiration. Both the floral bomber and the lace skirt are beautiful, and the pairing is - perfect. I also envy you the weather, as we had snow again today. Oh well!

The weather here is crazy. We went straight from winter to summer. While I was away in NM, we had a record low daytime temp of 27. A week later, yesterday we hit a record high of 91. Thankfully, we're getting back to slightly more normal temps in the coming days. But we had no significant snow this year at all, which bums me out. Seems like our climate here is getting more warm and tropical, which might sound good to a lot of people, but I am not a hot-weather person!
