Loving the gray chambray with white denim. You look mahvelous.

I love this whole outfit SO much, especially the shoes... Although aren't you my foot double? So I should tell you that they are terrible and maybe you would send them off to another home... In Florida. You look perfectly pulled together for your activities of the day!

Janet, I love this outfit combo! You look amazing!

I missed the k/r on the shoes, I think you did the right thing keeping them. I love them on you. Great decision to combine them with the charcoal chambray shirt. And the mint clutch adds the delicious splash of color. You probably had men secretly admiring you in each and every aisle of the store!

Love the outfit, the grey chambray shirt is divine.
I would never think to pair the mint clutch with the grey shirt,
I am not sure it works, but it is maybe just a preference for more of a relationship between the two.
I think a bright color could work, like red but the mint seems a bit too clean of a color.
Just obsessive color freak here, outstanding outfit!

Just looked again and I think it is because the mint is so light in value-makes the bottom half with the white pants slightly too light for the darkness of the shirt. Again, take this with a grain of salt but wanted to add suggestion as you requested.

You know what, Jean, I see what you mean in the photos -- but IRL the color of the shirt is a little lighter. I think it goes better because of that. I think that, yeah, a brighter turquoise or red or even cobalt may have worked better, but this was a quick grab, and I wanted to wear that cuff. Thank you for the ideas though!

I love this outfit, Janet. The ankle strap shoes make the look for me. (Really? They did not get forum approval? Sorry I missed that thead. I vote killer shoes. Who made them?).

How fun to have shopped with you for that fab shirt - and we have the same aqua clutch. xo

Thanks,Angie! The shoes are BCBG. I think they just got overshadowed by the blue wedge ones I got at the same time. These were very comfy for a first day shoe!

High five, clutch twin! And I'm thrilled with the shirt -- I think it will be a workhorse for a long time!

I hope I loved the shoes because I sure love them now. You look fantastic. Grocery stores should be honored that we grace them with our style!

Wooohooo. Agreed.

Are the shoes still available, Janet - and can you provide a link?

Collected. Thanks honey-pie, Janet. Are they comfy and soft? Do you think my fussy feet will approve? And do they run TTS?

Best dressed shopper in aisle 9!

Thanks for that link, Angie! Will investigate further...

Huh, somebody didn't like those shoes? Not me I'm sure. Love everything about this outfit!

Very lovely (and I remember that shirt as being very soft) I missed the shoes first time around but vote keep now for sure.

Glad you kept the shoes, they match perfect the chambray shirt here, and nowadays I'm so in love with the ankle strap and if they are flats, than even better!:-) Great pop of color in the clutch, YLF Janet!

OMG to the grocery store? Lucky checkers!! Love it all. You look amazing! Fab clutch and awesome shoes. Going to check them out right now

Oh, I missed Angie's question! I would not say they're terribly soft or cushiony, but nothing rubbed or irritated my foot, and that's pretty notable for a flat with an ankle strap in my book. One thing to note: the ankle strap closes with a strip of velcro and then slips under the metal holders, which are mainly just for show. I actually like this because it allows you to get the ankle fit just right, but it's a little tricky at first. I found it best to stick the velcro together and THEN slip the strap end through the metal buckle.

What a gorgeous color combination! I love every piece (I have a similar cuff) and together it is such a stylish casual outfit. YLF!

Thanks for the shoe report, Janet. I will pass it on to my clients. xo

I think this is a very fine outfit indeed, and your grocery store is lucky to have you grace them in this get-up! The mint is just dashing against the subtle neutrals, and I think you found a great combo for those shoes. The whole effect is understated and lovely.
