Hello.

I've hit that time of year when finding good lighting for WIWs is a challenge. Here are a couple of fall outfits with rust.

#1 and #2 - Rust Cardigan and Stripes
Layered a rust cardigan and striped top with brown cowgirl boots with my workhorse bag for fall.

#3 and #4 - Rust Top and Ivory
A rust top layered with an ivory jacket and boots again with my workhorse fall bag.

#3 is KILLER GORGEOUS. Love how the light neutrals amp up the prettiness of the outfit. How alluring the sweatheart neckline is. And how the belt adds an interesting and boho texture!

These are so fantastic, Lisa. That first one makes me swoon, for the subtle stripe, the cozy cardi, bootcut/flare jeans, and the cowgirl boots! Outfit perfection, right there. The second one is a total win as well--the color combo and proportions are beautiful and flattering.

Cookie - The scoopneck top was a new addition to my fall wardrobe this season because it pairs so well with the jacket.

Angie - *sending a hug back!* I had a feeling you'd really like outfit #3. It's my favorite recent outfit too! The jacket pairs so well with the boots and is a lovely soft touch of ivory as we go into the colder weather.

Suz - I also really like the pairing of the ivory jacket and boots, they work so well together.

LJP - I also really enjoy sporting rust! It's a lovely color for fall and it also pairs so well with my beloved blues which are dominant in my wardrobe.

Carol - True, stripes are often nautical, especially in summer collections. It's nice to find a stripe that is a bit different and non nautical, indeed a rarity!

RobinF - It's nice to sport boots after so many months of sneakers and sandals.

Brooklyn - Oh yes, give your jacket a chop! The cut off detail is what made me pull the trigger on adding this jacket to my fall wardrobe, there's something about the cut off detail that gives outfits a fun twist on a classic denim jacket outfit.
