Wiw - outside my comfort zone

I got this dress at the after Christmas sales... It is way more fitted on the bottom than what I usually do- but I'm trying It. I don't think it looks too bad though I think I need some color... Maybe a bright belt or earring?

What do you think?

Oh wow! I love your glasses and hair with that dress. I actually like it as is without a splash of colour. Although, a coloured bootie would be cute. I think a coloured skinny belt would be fun too. Where is the dress from? I really like it! I love the little tab sleeves, it's very cyber.

I like this too! It would be different, but not better , with a splash of color.

That dress is just fantastic and looks lovely on you! It is kind of reminiscent of a Roland Mouret which is probably my dream dress if I had a ton of money to burn. I like it as is, but you could add colour too. Love the tiled flooring with the outfit too!

The dress and booties are both Ted Baker. I got them at the sales at Bloomingdales.

I love "cyber" as an adjective! I need to figure out how to hit the "cyber" style note for more of my outfits!

I really like it exactly as it is, and the dress looks amazing on you!

If you really did want a pop of color, I would go with a handbag or maybe a skinny colored belt. Honestly, though, it doesn't need it!

It absolutely does not need the colour and looks totally fab. However adding colour would give it a whole new look for next time (then rotate back to this look!). I can see coloured tights in mustard or emerald being fun....

I love the silhouette you've created. The bootie is quite elegant and I love the rounded collar on the shirt -- not to mention the pattern. It's such a juxtaposition of delicate (dots, cream background, rounded collar) and tough (black slim cut dress, strong architectural sleeve/ shoulder line, angular seaming). You look so chic!
