Happy new year! Like many of us on the forum, I’m trying to shop less, though I did spend some gift cards and items are trickling in via the mail. I believe I have enough items to enjoy my new less narrow bottom silhouette, though. More importantly, outfits like #17 feel right now-chic and comfy and authentic.
As I posted in my 2020 goals, I have some ideas about keeping myself on track but I will have to see how they work out. I truly don’t see much I want - but what I want, I really want, even if it’s similar to stuff I have. We’ll see how it goes.
1-11 are some pictures including what I wore for the holidays-sparkly chucks, a new red puffer (needed one to cover my knees).
12 are a gift of Frye booties from my mom.
13 is Christmas Day. I look happy but I was ill with a cold
14 is in Seneca Falls, outside Elizabeth Cady Stanton’s house; my in laws took me for a pilgrimage when I visited them over the holidays.
15-17 are outfits since the new year and my return to work.
18 is really special. My husband took an old Harper’s cover we saw at the Met, and commissioned an art piece in the same style, starring me and my cats. I need to frame it and hang it soon!
