Hi everyone!
This is a “new old jacket” and waistcoat. Literally “borrowed from the boys”, or rather saving from DH’s holding zone/donation pile. I like the “masculine” and the bit oversized fit of the jacket. It is a part of an anthracite grey wool Boss suit. Here, I wear it with a white cotton button down shirt (Van Laack), snake patterned jeans (Gardeur) and cognac boots (Sergio Rossi). I added a large glass brooch and a little silk scarf to somewhat repeat the cognac colour in the boots. Cognac sunglasses. All items are old, some really old, but remixed in a new way. I also tried the combination without the jacket and only with the waistcoat - I then moved the brooch and pinned it there. I wore it to a quick trip to the post office… My outing today The outfit was otherwise too warm for WFH.
The second outfit consists of the same men’s jacket, Worn with black knitted trousers (Escada), black/gold patterned boots (Hammerstein) and a beige cotton hoodie. All old items. I added three old brooches (thrifted). Gold/brown sunnies.
This I didn’t wear.
What do you think of my new old jacket -waistcoat combo?
