I pulled out my one marbled print item after Angie's recent post, and threw it in the car for my long weekend in Pgh that is, finally, for some fun and social events. I am at an Airbnb that is a hidden gem in the heart of a very industrial neighborhood. Today I am taking someone to lunch who was very helpful to me over the past year. I can't even describe what this person did, out of the goodness of his heart much more than out of his professional obligation. Then my sister and I will visit our Mom, and have dinner at her apt after going to happy hour in the community.
Tomorrow I am going to see my friend, Beto, from Brazil. He was the AFS exchange student at my high school in 1978, and we are still friends! He owns a successful travel agency and has not stopped traveling since he was 17. We are gathering tomorrow evening to celebrate a beloved teacher and summer/school swim & running coach. Beto also was in Boston this week, and took a 10 mile walk around the city with my older son!
I love summer dresses. One and done, as Carla says! I am still not wearing any jewelry, so this was the easiest outfit ever. BR dress from 4 or 5 years ago. Pairing with my awesome metallic sandals. Will probably throw my blue denim jean jacket over it.
