So today when I got dressed I had no idea that I would have a crazy, super busy Monday. People were coming out of the woodwork today. I suppose everyone needs days like this once in a while. Makes me appreciate the not so crazy ones. At least I felt comfortable all day.

Another shout out for the lace shell! I like dressing that is simple and graphic from a distance, and then gives a little "present" of detail to people who are physically closer. The necklaces and gorgeous jade ring are great "closeup" choices.

Gorgeous suit, the textured top is the perfect detail here. I'd also love to see this suit with pink sometime in an outfit remix. I just put a pink/white striped shirt on my shopping list for my own navy suit.

I love the texture in the blouse it is a nice additional layer of contrast to the black. I also really like a suit jacket that allows for cuffing at the wrist. Lovely detail (especially since I have short arms!)

Hey Ms. Pretty Smile, I had to laugh at "people were coming out of the woodwork". I literally had an image in my head (English is not my first language and when I come across the new or less frequent phrases I tend to understand them very literally to begin with.)

But, back to the outfit. I think it is amazing. Simple, "boring" (and we know I love "boring"), with a lot of character in the form of the lace top and the jewellery - I can't decide which piece I like the most. YLF.

I hope the rest of the week in the office is calmer and easier to manage.
