WIW - Lemming crops and sandals. JAileen and Beth Ann, thanks for the inspiration.

I've been eyeing the Naot Kayla on others, especially JAileen. I saw them on Amazon for a great price (70% off) in my size, and got the last pair in royal blue. When I received the sandals, one foot was super stretched out in the forefoot. I returned it and got the black. The arch is higher than I'm used to, but I think it's good for me. I had black comfort sandals on my wish list for over a year, so I hope these will work for a long day walking. That has yet to be proven though.

I also have been considering a Champion crop pant that I saw on Beth Ann. In black, I figured they would work for work outs or a super lightweight travel pant. I ran across them on the clearance rack at Target for half off. Got the last pair in my size. They're a little wide through the hip, but nothing crazy.

And as a note on sales, I don't like to get something just because it's on sale, but if I want to get something anyway, the sale price doesn't hurt!

Oh, I hope you like them! I wore my metallic ones this afternoon when my neighbor and I went to meet some new neighbors and register them to vote. (We weren't successful - at one house they were already registered, at the other house no one was home.) I like that they are so comfy, and don't make my big feet look any bigger!

Thanks JAileen. I have a big foot, and I don't think they make my foot look giant. Not that I care much, I am not sensitive to having big feet.

I see the last Royal pair in my size is back for sale on Amazon. I wish the next person more luck than I had with them (I did tell them I found the shoe defective. There was a big distinction between left and right as to how large the front straps were).

About to go for the walk and put on the crop pants again. I am really liking them. I realized it's not that they're too wide in the hips. Any smaller and they wouldn't be comfy. As with many pants, they get a touch too long in the rise, since much of my length is in my torso above my waist. So a smidge puffy there (can't be from me making them look puffy, must be the pants ) They are comfy and super lightweight. These should be good for exercising and my casual lifestyle.
